This place has definitely scaled up since the last time I was there many years ago. The food was as good as I remember it, albeit slightly more expensive. I had the 2004 specially roll and a Rainbow roll which ended up being around $24 in total. Again, the food was fantastic and I would highly recommend checking them out!
I love love LOVE Mr. Sushi, they have the best rolls! Service is always amazing, friendly and fast. They know their regular guest and what they like. The hot green tea is always tasty! The new-ish renovation is just beautiful! Will always be my #1 go to sushi!
Very tasty sushi at a good price. The presentation and decor was great! We got the Anchorage roll, and I would recommend it (if salmon is your thing).
I haven't been to this establishment for a while and decided to stop in and have dinner with my boyfriend after work one day. We walked in and was greeted and seated almost immediately. I love how the sushi here is affordable and the rolls are always spectacular when I come here. We wasted no time in looking at the sushi menu and getting as much sushi as we could eat (and afford, haha). The service was wonderful, the waiter came and got our orders, and probably 20 minutes later our sushi was out. The sushi is really great for the price range.
Very rude staff. Placed closed at 10:30, we arrived at 9:45. Not even 10 minutes and we were asked to hurry up and order because the kitchen was closing at 10 o'clock? Then THEY forgot to put in our Sunday Morning roll and proceeded to rush us the whole time! Turned the lights and music off on us. Horrible service! If you want to be out by 10:30, then have a cut off time... but they wouldn't do that in Gahanna.
