I agree with the other reviewers. I went once and never returned. They first lost my clothing and when they found them, two shirts' buttons were ruined. Very unprofessional and poor quality work.
The guys in this shop are always super-nice and helpful... They help me bring in the dirty dry cleaning, then make sure I have help getting the clean clothes back to the car without dragging them through the parking lot.
I've never wrote a review on a business before but felt compelled to do so on this one. I decided to use this place to clean my comforter because it was about $10 cheaper than my usual place. Well, you get what you pay for. I should have spent the extra money. This place is a joke. I picked up my comforter and that night, while in bed, I noticed it still smelled dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned but I could tell they did something because my comforter was still quite wrinkly, which the women told me would be steam pressed out. So the next morning I called and the owner happened to answer the phone and I asked him if they used detergent when they washed my comforter and he said 'no' and that they do not use detergent but use some kind of spray and that's it. And he's been doing it that way for 20 years and never had any complaints. He had horrible customer service and gave me attitude. The place looked like a bomb exploded when I walked in which gave me a bad feeling about the place and I should've went with my gut feeling. I'd take your dry cleaning cleaning needs elsewhere!
They have wonderful specials-- 99 cent shirt service, and 20% off if you prepay-- and the turnaround is quite quick. We have had a few shirts ruined in the press over the years-- buttons broken, shirts pulled/torn, but for the price savings over other area cleaners, we've more than saved the cost of a few old shirts.
I've been using Star Cleaners for a few years now and they do a great job. Sure, you'll have the occasional issue, but that is to be expected with dry cleaning and they always redo it at no charge. They are far better than any other dry cleaning service I've used in the past and the owner, Mark, has even been kind enough to bring my clothes out to my car. I highly recommend Star Cleaners.
